Get ready for another captivating evening of creativity and connection as Wi Kreative Playgron returns on Thursday, January 30th. This month, we’re gathering at #6 Williams Drive, SS Camp. It will be a night showcasing the incredible talents of poets, musicians, and visual artists.
Here’s what’s in store:
Featured Poets

First, we have King Edward, a writer and poet from Sierra Leone’s capital. King Edward has a passion for storytelling. He crafts words reflecting the vibrancy of his roots. His writing offers a unique perspective on life.
Next is Oseh, a young Sierra Leonean poet and multidisciplinary artist who has explored acting, modeling, and photography. Intuitively led in her creative expression, Oseh believes her art will always pave the way for her in any space.
Joining them is King Righteous, also known as Rashid Foday, a student, artist, and poet. King Righteous writes emotional pieces and explores the realities of life through his thought-provoking art.
We also welcome Izi, a multifaceted artist with a passion for creating art in all its forms. Izi finds joy in expressing her unique perspective through spoken word, music, and other creative outlets. Deeply influenced by her love for nature, esoteric knowledge, and human connection, her pieces are both relatable and profound.
Musician & Exhibiting Artist

ApriilL, a Sierra Leonean singer, songwriter, and record producer, will grace the stage with his soulful sounds. Rooted in the Afrobeats genre, ApriilL discovered his talent early and has since pursued an independent music career. With aspirations to take his sound internationally, ApriilL’s performances are always full of passion and authenticity.
This month, we are thrilled to showcase the work of Diana Turay, also known as Life on a Canvas. Diana is a painter and architecture student. She started her artistic journey in 2020. Diana is also skilled in crafting and brings her creativity to life in diverse forms.
Food for the Evening
No need to worry about early or late dinners. We’ll have delicious Fish and Vegetable Tacos from Bureh Beach. They will be available for sale at the event. Come hungry and enjoy some great food while soaking in the creativity!
Open Mic Slots
As always, the evening will feature 5 open mic slots for anyone eager to share their poetry, music, or art. These slots are first-come, first-served, so arrive early to secure your spot and join the lineup.
