This month, we are thrilled to present an incredible lineup of poets, musicians, and artists who are set to light up the stage with their talent and creativity. Wi Kreative Playgron is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community of artists and providing a platform for emerging and established talents to share their work, inspire each other, and engage with the audience in meaningful ways.
Featured Poets

Our featured poets are Favour, King Righteous, and Melvin. Favour is a student at the College of Medical and Allied Health Sciences, studying Pharmacy, currently ate Pre-Pharmacy level. She writes and performs poetry, writes stories, and sings. For Favor, poetry is an escape, a way to express her emotions when life gets rough and tough, describing it as her only drug.
Rashid Foday, also known as King Righteous, is a student of Fourah Bay College in the Economics and Commerce Department. He is a pencil artist and a spoken word artist who loves to ignite emotions in people through his work, telling relatable stories through his pieces.
Melvin Benjamin Koroma, also a student at Fourah Bay College studying Sociology, uses poetry as an escape from the burdens of the world. He extends this fabric of reality to others by stringing scattered thoughts together to form art.
Musical Acts

On the musical front, we have Meme and Sul. Omanatu Meme Swaray, professionally known as Meme is journeying on the path of music with great passion and dedication. She is assigned to the Kulala Troupe, led by one of the biggest producers in Sierra Leone, and is part of a band called GEN X. Meme’s passion for music has led her to participate in competitions such as Vocal Drift, and she has had the honor of performing alongside the legendary Sorie Kondi.
Sulaiman Bangura, known as Sul, is the Head of A&R and Business Development at Salone Music Coterie, a student at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, and a freshman at Ballanta Academy of Music and Performing Arts. A tech enthusiast with an undying love for music, Sul has performed at several shows, including Vocal Drift Inspired and a fundraiser for Sick Pikin.
Art Exhibition & DJ

Adding to the visual feast, our very own coordinator, Alice Sumah, will be showcasing her stunning paintings, enriching the evening’s performances with her artistic flair. Alice’s work promises to add a unique and personal touch to the event, making it even more special.
S’phongo will be our charismatic host for the night, ensuring the energy remains high and the vibes smooth throughout the event. He will also be and doubling as the DJ for the evening, spinning some South African Deep House beats. His dynamic presence will keep the audience engaged and entertained from start to finish.
Food and Drinks

Back by popular demand, Tacos from Bureh will tantalize your taste buds, while our fully stocked bar and free vodka shots for everyone will kick off the night in style. This combination of great food and drinks will ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and memorable time.
