
On the vibrant evening of July 28th, Mango Peak was the scene of an electrifying showdown as the fourth heat of Rise & Riot unfolded. Ten incredible poets took the stage, each bringing their unique blend of passion, artistry, and storytelling to the forefront. The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation and excitement, as friends and supporters gathered to witness the poetic battle.
From heartfelt reflections to fiery social commentaries, the performances were nothing short of spectacular. The highlight of the evening was Martin from Kenema, whose powerful and evocative delivery earned him the championship title. His ability to weave personal narratives with universal themes resonated deeply with the audience, marking him as a standout talent.

Adding to the thrill of the evening, the top three poets from this heat have secured their spots in the grand finale. These exceptional performers will compete in the final Rise & Riot of 2024, where the ultimate title of Sierra Leone’s Slam Champion will be awarded.
